A question: what was the tactical logic behind blowing up the Ternovskaya dam 3 days ago? I was a bit puzzled even back then, does anybody understand the thinking behind this? It's not the first time Ukrainians blew up their dams, they did it a whole number of times in Donbas, and also they breached the one on the Dnieper (forgot the name). In all of these circumstances, the dam breaking didn't directly hit Russians, nor did it hit Russian's rear. Can anybody explain why they do this? Scorched earth tactics, make Russia pay for everything?
What, in your educated opinion Marat, is Russia going to do in Zaporozhye city? It's huge. It would cost many, many billions to rebuild it. Let alone the lives to take it.
It's a crying shame the western fascist regimes are refusing diplomacy to end the war, I guess they figure the cost is all Russia's, for them it's just printed money, and dead Slavs on both sides.
The human cost of taking Zaporozhye city would be horrendous though the fighting may not be as intense as Mariopul or Artiomovsk based on preparation and a lack of trained experienced and ideologically motivated fighters on the Ukrainian side now faced with highly experienced Russian soldiers, even though Zaporozhye is a much larger city and population.
The economic cost of rebuilding Eastern Ukraine will be heavy but it may not be a burden on the Kremlin as is thought. The reality is the cost will be in Rubles, which is a fiat currency (not backed by anything). The Russian government has the sole monopoly on Ruble creation globally. So the Rubles can be created, the only concern will be inflation. Majority of the purchase for reconstruction will be local, Russia doesn't need much imports, and most of the labor would be local and contracting companies either government or local contractors. The economic activity sorounding the rebuilding could jump start the Eastern Ukrainian provinces creating jobs and finance to restart stagnated economic activities such as mining and manufacturing. The Ruble is basically being internationalized, which will create the need for Ruble supply expansion as their will be greater demand for Rubles within nations needing to trade for Russian goods and services. So this will be equivalent to a Russian Marshall plan that was used to rebuild Europe after WW2.

I believe there is a simple answer to this but in twofold.
1.it was initially thought of as a tool of propaganda to help exart pressure on Russia,to what end? Only they can tell,
2.this is also a reasoning I believe is found in the 1st reasoning, Act of desperation on the part of the Ukrainian Armed forces.
Thank you for sharing.

Israel will face the same fate.
