I would say also figuring into the change of heart is the fact that a much higher percentage of troops involved in the Kursk raid are loyal Nazis, and highly trained and experienced personnel. They can’t replace those easily, so they need them back.

Right. Lots of videos on Bitchute of AFU prisoners being treated well and giving up info. Many were forced into Kursk. One video had ar least 12 prisoners. An elite AFU unit wiped out. All on video. I can't even track now the number of AFU tanks and vehicles obliterated. Another reason to wanting an exchange.

All of them claim that they were forced , they didn't kill anybody, they worked in AFU as cooks & on & on. Like in the video Apti Alaudinov showed on his telegram where the comander interviews captured ukro-nazi from " Azov" who said he was a cook and didn't kill anyone.

Well in the beginning of the SMO it looks like these were Nazi and die hard patriots but especially in the last 6 months, more and more videos are surfacing of Ukrainian citizens filming men getting snatched from the streets or mobs preventing the snatching. Compelling! So not everyone in Ukraine is into this war. Hence the staggering numbers of Ukraine refugees. Its not a black and white situation. Not everyone claims they were forced. But many are surrendering and claiming such and thank heavens the Russians know the difference. I find it very kind. But I also find that ruthlessness is needed as well.

One needs to go back and start from the year 2000 at least to see how the behavior of people Ukraine changed and to understand why . Of course they don't want to fight Russia anymore, they don't want to die , because Russia won this war against the West and is finishing off the suicidal nazi hatefull " brothers slavs" who were fully supporting ETHNIC CLEANSING of Russian population in Donbass , supporting the laws prohibiting Russian language, literature & ect. . Apparently ,ukrainians are the victims here , not people of Russia.

Ohhhh no. Please do not misunderstand my comments. Militant Nazi Ukrainians have been ethnic cleansing Russian speaking Ukrainians, from my knowledge, at least since 2014 when the coup happened. These are the Ukrainians that I am speaking about. I am from the West. I seek out knowledge from Russians and other war correspondents who empathize with Russia and Russian speaking Ukrainians. My research says there are Ukrainians who also empathize with Russian speaking Ukrainians. Christians etc. They are stuck in the middle too from a crazy Zelenskyy regime. Perhaps I am ignorant of some facts. I will certainly go back and look at the history as you suggested. Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

Correction : ethnic cleansing of ethnic Russians . All Ukrainians know Russian language though. And one must be causious with Russian journalists also, just like the Western ones. Very many of them are liberal pseudo-patriots and very-many of them are Ukrainians pushing TSIPSO ( ЦИПСО) propaganda & disinformation . Informational hygiene must be maintained there . P.S. Russian people die ,including children. My cousin Irina in Donetsk city lost her 8 years old grandson who was killed during ukrainians shelling of the city.

Plus, the Chechnya won't forget about their men that were slain , tortured etc. - War or no War. These guys are going to get even - after it's all said and done. I just came out of Tbilisi and the guys I was talkin to, were definitely connected to those that went to Ukie-ville. They kinda freaked out when I told them Russia can't/won't lose this war, in fact I said " Russia has already won this war - nobody wants to look at the facts" - that turned some heads - Hey, Грузия { Georgian cha cha { moonshine} will sure loosen you up - lol. Of course I said this as an American, so I wasn't beat up.

IOI be carefull drinking cha-cha with some Georgians there. They got their asses kicked by Russia really fast in 2008 for attempting to invite NATO .

Ya I remember - I was working in Crimea during the skirmish, and had to ask some friends what was the real story. I got a couple emails from some friends in the states telling me that the Russians invaded Georgia - and Crimea was next. I chuckled - wrote them back - Don't worry - the Russians are already here - been here since 1776. The West will lie forever.
