Brief report from the front, August 25, 2024

Donetsk direction:

In the Toretsk section of the Donetsk direction, units of the Russian Armed Forces have established themselves in a forest area and a summer cottage village located between the Severnaya mine waste heap and penal colony No. 2. They expanded the control zone in Toretsk itself, driving the enemy out of the area south of the central hospital. Clearing of the forest area between the Artema Mine and the Toretsk Zabalka area continues.

In the Pokrovsky area, our fighters have taken control of most of the multi-story buildings in the settlement of Novogrodovka. Control of the settlement itself is approximately 50/50. In the area of ​​the settlement of Orlovka, they drove the enemy out of a company stronghold and advanced into the forest belts between Orlovka and Novogrodovka. South of the latter, our units entered the settlement of Marinovka from the settlement of Nikolaevka, advancing toward Selidovo, which is already being prepared for our attack on it. The city is completely without power, and an evacuation has been declared.

From Nikolaevka, there is an active advance to the settlement of Memrik. At the same time, our forces took the settlement of Kalinovo in a semi-envelopment, driving out the enemy to the east of it and taking control of the territory along the Karlovskoye Reservoir. Kalinovo is under our complete fire control. The enemy is retreating. Thus, it can be stated that the RF Armed Forces have reached the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the reservoir area. At the same time, our fighters have already entered Karlovka itself from the east, having completely taken control of the dachas in front of it.

Kurakhovskoye and Yuzhnodonetske directions:

The Kurakhovskoye direction has also become more active. Our units have taken a number of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions west of Krasnogorovka. Earlier, the enemy was driven out of the farms south of the city. Our troops are keeping the road from Krasnogorovka to the settlements of Zhelannoye 1 and Zhelannoye 2 under fire control, destroying enemy transport moving along it. It is along this road that logistics are carried out for the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the northern part of Krasnogorovka, separated from the main part of the city by the Lozovaya River.

In the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, our units have advanced to the Konstantinovka-Ugledar highway along the entire section from the Solyonkaya gully to the Ikryanaya gully, reaching a distance of about half a kilometer from it. The company strongpoint before the turn to the settlement of Vodyanoye is still under the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but our troops have already consolidated themselves in the forest belts closest to it.
Our fighters have expanded the control zone along the highway south of Vodyanoye.
